George Stucley
Sir George Stucley Stucley, 1st Baronet (17 August 1812 – 13 March 1900), known as George Buck until 1858, was a British Conservative Member of Parliament.
Stucley was returned to Parliament for Barnstaple in 1855, a seat he held until 1857 and again between 1865 and 1868. In 1858 he assumed by Royal license the surname of Stucley in lieu of his patronymic as lineal heir of the ancient Stucley family, which had possessed Affeton Castle in Devon for over 600 years. In April 1859 he was created a Baronet, of Affeton Castle in the County of Devon. In 1863 he served as High Sheriff of Devon
Stucley died in March 1900 at Bideford, aged 87.
